Course Unit Description
This unit introduces learners to the various types of business organisations, their purposes, and the nature of the environment in which they operate. Learners will explore how businesses are influenced by stakeholders and the external environment and evaluate globalisation’s impact on operations and strategy.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand the structure, purpose, and types of business organisations.
- Analyse the influence of stakeholders and the external environment.
- Evaluate business organisational structures and their impact on performance.
- Assess the impact of globalisation on business operations.
To achieve a ‘pass’ for this unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria.
