Life Rafts:
- Usage: Life rafts can be deployed and inflated in the event of a water landing.
- How to Use: Passengers and crew board the life raft and use oars or paddles to navigate. Life rafts often come equipped with survival equipment.
First Aid Kits:
- Usage: First aid kits on board contain basic medical supplies to address minor injuries.
- How to Use: Flight attendants and crew members are trained to use first aid supplies to provide initial medical assistance to injured passengers.
Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT):
- Usage: ELTs are designed to transmit a distress signal in the event of a crash or emergency landing, aiding search and rescue efforts.
- How to Use: ELTs are activated automatically upon impact, but crew members can also manually activate them if necessary.
